Most people picture Konyaaltı as a long city beach, but many of our enquiries come from its rural western side, especially Hisarçandır and Geyikbayırı. Below the limestone cliffs of the Beydağları foothills, this area is known among climbers from all over Europe. At Beyaz Tiny House, our main recommendation here is a mobile tiny house on a trailer chassis.
Climbing country, not beach country
Geyikbayırı's limestone walls hold hundreds of sport climbing routes, and the season runs from autumn to spring. Climbers stay in campsites, guesthouses and bungalows nearby. Hisarçandır offers quiet garden living close to the city but inside nature. You can reach the city centre and the airport quickly and still feel you live in the mountains, which is why enquiries come both from climbing businesses and from families who work in town. Plots here are typically:
- Rocky, terraced and sloping, which makes deep foundations difficult,
- Cooler at night than the coast, especially in spring and autumn,
- Surrounded by pine and maquis, with real wildfire risk in summer,
- Reached by narrow, winding lanes.
Why a mobile tiny house
A tiny house on a chassis stands on adjustable support legs, so it can be levelled on rock without excavation and the land stays largely untouched. It can serve as a climbers' rental in season and family space in summer, and guesthouses can start with one unit and add more. Layouts with a shower, toilet, kitchenette and sleeping loft sleep two to four, and we can add a spot for hanging and drying gear. Browse our models or read what a tiny house is.
Details we add for this area
- Fire resilience: fire-resistant cladding, a metal roof, closed eaves and a cleared safety strip around the house. This does not remove the risk, but it improves the home's resistance.
- Shoulder-season comfort: solid insulation, a heat pump for heating and cooling, and mechanical ventilation in the bathroom and kitchen to stop condensation.
- Off-grid options: water tanks, solar panels and batteries where utilities are limited.
Permits
Some plots here are forest land or sit close to its boundary, and others are agricultural, all with their own restrictions. Renting tiny houses to climbers or tourists as bungalows, glamping or guesthouse rooms may require a tourism certificate or municipal permit. Wheels do not make a unit exempt. Please check with Konyaaltı Municipality first.
Delivery from Silifke
Our homes travel along the D400 coastal road via Alanya, Manavgat and central Antalya, roughly 460–480 km. We time the city crossing for quieter hours and check lane width, bends and plot entry during the site visit. More: tiny houses in Antalya.
