Akdeniz is Mersin's historic centre and port district, but to the east, around Karaduvar and Kazanlı, the coastal plain is covered with greenhouses, vegetable fields and citrus orchards. Here, demand for a prefab house in Akdeniz or a tiny house usually comes from work rather than holidays: a guard house next to the greenhouses, accommodation for seasonal staff, or a small office on the farm.
Why prefab works for farms and businesses
A prefab house is built in our workshop and installed quickly on site, so it can be ready before the season starts. Modular planning means you can start with a single room and add modules later. Layouts follow the use: an office with a tea corner, two bedrooms with a shared bathroom, or one open room with storage. For growers with several plots, a wheeled tiny house can be moved between sites as needed.

- Humidity: greenhouses and irrigation raise moisture levels, so we raise the floor, use moisture-resistant materials underneath and ventilate wet areas well.
- Sea air: close to the shore we use galvanised framing and corrosion-resistant paint.
- Long hot summers: thick roof insulation, shading and air-conditioning provision keep staff comfortable during midday breaks.
- Flat ground: water can pool after heavy rain, so we choose the position and drainage direction during the site visit.

Utilities
Farms usually have irrigation water, but drinking water, electricity and wastewater need separate planning. Where there is no grid connection, solar panels with batteries, a water tank with a pump and a suitable wastewater solution can be added. For units housing several people, we size water storage, hot water and electrical capacity accordingly, use fused and earthed wiring, ventilate the kitchen properly and recommend storing greenhouse chemicals in a separate shed, away from living space.
Delivery and permits
Our workshop in Ulugöz, Silifke, is roughly 85–90 km from Akdeniz via the coastal road and the Mersin city crossing. We check truck and crane access on the dirt roads between greenhouses during the free site visit.
