Aydıncık is a small coastal district between Silifke and Bozyazı, where pine forest runs down to a string of quiet coves. There are no big holiday complexes here, which is exactly why people come. If you own a plot and want a simple summer base, a mobile tiny house in Aydıncık is one of the easiest ways to get there.
Why a tiny house on wheels?
- Flexible: on its trailer chassis the house can be moved to another plot, or somewhere more sheltered in winter.
- Gentle on the land: on pine-covered or sloping coastal plots, levelled ground and stabiliser legs are often enough, so trees can stay.
- Complete: sleeping loft, kitchen, shower and toilet in one unit, comfortable for a couple or a small family through the summer.
- Ready to use: it is finished in our workshop, so you can move in the same season.

Built for salt air
A home a few hundred metres from the sea ages faster than one inland. For Aydıncık we use a galvanised and painted chassis, stainless exterior fittings, light-coloured cladding with an awning or pergola against the August sun, and ventilation that keeps air moving even when the house is closed after summer, which helps against mould.

Power, water and delivery
Some plots down by the coves have limited grid access. Solar panels, batteries and a water tank can make a tiny house self-sufficient for the summer; wastewater must still go to a septic tank or the municipal sewer. Aydıncık is roughly 70 km from our Silifke workshop along the D400 coast road via Taşucu. The main road is easy; the narrow dirt tracks down to the coves are what we check during the free site visit.
On site, we suggest facing the large windows towards the sea to catch the afternoon breeze and keeping the sleeping area away from the western sun. Pine shade helps, but needles collect on the roof, so we fit gutters that are easy to clear. On plots close to the forest, keep the ground around the house free of dry grass in summer as a simple fire precaution.
Coastal rules
Building near the shore is restricted by Turkey's Coastal Law and the shoreline boundary, and forest land or archaeological sites can bring further limits. A tiny house on wheels may be treated differently from a fixed building, but that does not mean it can go anywhere. Please check with Aydıncık Municipality before placing it.
