Bozyazı sits on a narrow coastal plain where the mountains come close to the sea, and much of that plain is covered with banana groves and greenhouses. Summers on the coast are hot and humid, and many local families head up to cooler highland areas such as Tekmen. That seasonal movement is why a caravan in Bozyazı often makes more sense than a fixed building.
Who is a caravan for here?
- Greenhouse and orchard owners who need to stay on site during irrigation and harvest.
- Seasonal workers, who deserve decent accommodation with a shower, toilet and kitchen; after the season the caravan can be moved.
- Coast-and-highland families who winter by the sea and summer in Tekmen, with one home instead of two.
- Summer stays on your own plot without a permanent structure.

Where to park it among the greenhouses
Parked right against a greenhouse, a caravan picks up the midday heat it gives off and the smell during spraying. We suggest a spot a few metres away, upwind of the spraying direction and ideally under a tree. Compacted gravel or a few concrete pads keep the wheels out of the mud in wet winters, and a separate, fused power line from the meter is far safer than sharing the irrigation pump circuit.
Specified for heat and humidity
A thin-walled caravan turns into an oven in August. We fit insulated walls and roof, air conditioning plus a roof vent and bathroom extractor to clear humidity, a galvanised and painted chassis with stainless fittings for salt air, insect screens on every opening and an awning at the door. If you will take it up to Tekmen, a small heater covers the cool nights.

Caravan, tiny house or prefab?
A caravan is best when you move often. For a small family living year-round in one orchard, a fixed tiny house is more comfortable, and for a larger family wanting conventional rooms, our prefab houses fit better. Browse all options on our models page.
Delivery and permits
Bozyazı is roughly 140 km from our Silifke workshop along the scenic, winding D400 coast road. Caravans are towed there on their own wheels; we check narrow greenhouse lanes and the steep road to Tekmen before delivery. A caravan is generally treated as a vehicle, but long-term parking with utility connections on farmland, near the shoreline or on pasture and forest land can still need approval. Please check with Bozyazı Municipality first.
