Serik lives from two things: the wide, fertile plain of greenhouses, citrus groves and fields, and the tourism around Belek, Kadriye and Boğazkent. Farmers want a place to stay at the edge of their fields during the busy months; hotels and businesses need seasonal housing for staff. Flat land, hot summers
The Serik plain is flat and easy to reach, which makes delivery and placement simple. The climate is the challenge: long, hot and humid summers and heavy winter rain on clay-rich soil. We recommend a well-insulated roof, an awning, properly sized air conditioning, fly screens for field-side use and a gravel or compacted pad so the wheels do not sink after rain.
Why a caravan fits Serik
Most use here is seasonal. When the harvest ends or the hotel season closes, the unit should be able to move. Our caravans offer:

For long summer stays in the field, we plan the electrical system so the air conditioning can run from a generator or a solar and battery setup. A larger water tank saves trips to refill, and a strongly fixed awning with ground anchors copes better with the afternoon wind on the open plain.
Rules worth knowing
Towable caravans are registered vehicles, so registration, inspection and the driving licence class needed for the weight are things we clarify with you before purchase. If the wheels are removed or the caravan is permanently fixed and connected to utilities, authorities may treat it as a building. Using caravans for paid accommodation such as camping, glamping or bungalows may require a tourism certificate or municipal permit. Coastal and archaeological protection zones also apply in parts of the district. Please check with Serik Municipality.
Delivery from Silifke
Caravans travel from our workshop along the D400 coastal road via Anamur, Alanya and Manavgat, roughly 400–420 km to central Serik. In the rainy season we check that the ground can take the delivery vehicle. More on our regional service: tiny houses in Antalya.
